I write, I illustrate. I am an artist, though recently my art has been the written word. I have embroidered segments of the cosmos, but currently I embroider family crests and heraldry. In 2020 I published the second book in The Future King series, a near-future dystopian retelling of the legend of King Arthur and his knights. The first instalment is available here.
I’ve had two modelling careers, one as a teenager and one in my twenties, though the success was of the non-paying and therefore unsustainable kind. Since then I’ve been working in medical market research and am busy being a mother. Any spare time I have, I spend writing.
While writing, I mostly listen to classical, but my musical tastes are generally eclectic. The Indiana Jones films are my all-time favourite movies (I’m an established and life-long fan of Harrison Ford), and I was also particularly impressed by Denis Villeneuve’s Arrival. Tolkien’s The Hobbit is a favourite book of mine and I always greatly enjoy The Mists of Avalon, though I wouldn’t be able to identify a particular favourite author. I have a general interest in fine art, sculpture and craft, and appreciate things that are done and made well. Right now. I’m working my way through a TBR of Arthurian literature.
Currently I’m working on the next instalment in The Future King series, Pendragon (2026). You’ll soon find that I’m poor at blogging at regular intervals, so if there’s a long gap, just assume that I’m getting on with writing.
