As an enthusiast for Arthurian legends I’m loving discovering little elements the Vulgate cycle and the Cistercian chronicles brought bang up to date, indeed blasted into the future to boot.
You may think you know how this story will end because of your knowledge of the tales but I’m betting the third instalment when it comes along will have a few shocks in store for us.

You never have to read through a history or exposition explaining the background; you learn through the conversations, narrative and action of the story about the England that Gwenhwyfar and her friends and family live in.
